About the Artist

Judith Peck’s sculptures are in over 80 public and private collections including the American Art Collection of Yale University Gallery and the Ghetto Fighters Museum in Israel. Outdoor sculptures may be seen at the West Palm Beach Florida Library; the historic telephone company building in Narragansett RI; Temple Oheb Sholom in Baltimore; the Teaneck New Jersey Public library; the Tenafly high school ; the Ridgewood Train Station and Ramapo College, among other cultural and religious sites.

Her work has been exhibited at the International Biennial of Art in Malta, the National Academy Galleries in NYC, Baltimore Museum of Art, Pennsylvania Academy, Detroit Institute, New Jersey State Museum, and  universities including Yale, Columbia, Fordham, Adelphi, Montclair, and Rutgers. “Ladies of Steel” — four over-life size sculptures — were displayed at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza in NYC Gateway to the UN.  Sixteen large-scale sculptures were installed on the Robert Moses Plaza of Fordham University at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. Outdoor works are currently on view in the Clifton New Jersey Art Park, Leonia New Jersey Sculpture Park, Warwick Winery in Warwick, NY, Ramapo College of New Jersey and the Morris Museum’s outdoor sculpture park.  

Judith Peck is professor emerita of art at Ramapo College of New.  She is author of eight books on creative processes and two novels. Titles can be viewed at https://iapbooks.com. She is referenced in Who’s Who in American Art, the World’s Who’s Who of Women, and the Smithsonian Institute’s publication, “Designing Public Art,” published in conjunction with The National Museum of American Art. Peck holds a doctoral degree from New York University and two master’s degrees in sculpture and art education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
